A Former Barista’s Guide to Starbucks

It’s no secret–I love coffee. Coffee shops give me joy & there’s nothing better than a well-crafted latte. It’s also no secret that I’m obsessed with Starbucks, to the point that girls at work will ask me the difference between a cappuccino and a macchiato, what the hell a misto is & does espresso have more caffeine than coffee (it doesn’t btw, fun fact). As a former barista (shout out to Holy Grounds), I figured I’d write a definitive guide to Starbucks drinks so you’ll never have any coffee questions again. Get ready to be a ‘Bucks pro.

Candlelight & A little Gold: Rustic Holiday Table Inspiration

For the past 3-ish years, my group of friends and I have had Friendsgiving. It started off at Nova where we’d rent out a lecture hall on campus for our 50+ friends, with desks lined with our attempts at classic Thanksgiving dishes. Last year, having just graduated and most of us still shambley from #adulting, we skipped Friendsgiving but brought it back full force this past weekend. Our guest list dwindled from 50 to 15, and we relocated to my friend Chris’s house, but it was probably the best Friendsgiving to date.

Easy Fall Cocktail: Apple Cider Mimosa

Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! It’s been a while–work and life got a bit crazy, but I’m excited for turkey and a few days off next week. For Thanksgiving, my mom always asks me and Krista to make something–I always pick sweet potato casserole, but decided to take a stab at a fall cocktail. If you know me at all, I love champagne & apple cider separately, so an apple cider mimosa was a no-brainer (plus it’s hella easy).
