Life Stages Described as Cocktails

The other day, I was talking to my friend Thomas about the happy hour I had just been to & we started talking about how some cocktails are “classier” than others. For example, you’d never order a $13 martini as a freshman in college (because honestly, you’re too poor and definitely not coordinated enough to hold a martini glass) just like you probably wouldn’t shotgun a Natty Light as a 40-year-old on a regular basis (although no judgement to those who do, stay lit). It sorta got me thinking how our taste in alcohol drastically changes as we grow up (naturally) & then I thought it would be funny to describe life stages in regards to alcoholic beverages. Easy Fall Cocktail: Apple Cider Mimosa

Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! It’s been a while–work and life got a bit crazy, but I’m excited for turkey and a few days off next week. For Thanksgiving, my mom always asks me and Krista to make something–I always pick sweet potato casserole, but decided to take a stab at a fall cocktail. If you know me at all, I love champagne & apple cider separately, so an apple cider mimosa was a no-brainer (plus it’s hella easy).

Likes & Favorites: Summer Staples

I’m a sunset lover, sangria drinker, country-song singer & self-proclaimed s’mores enthusiast. Long weekends down the shore give me life again and there really isn’t anything better than the sound of the ocean on a perfect sunny day. Basically, summer is 100% the best time of the year & I’m liking/favoriting every bit of it–especially these summer staples.
