It’s been a while! December always seems to fly by & this one has been no different. Hard to believe Christmas is basically a week away, so as you get into the spirit, here’s what I’ve been liking & favoriting during this wonderful (and sorta crazy) season.
Full disclosure: I’m absolutely awful at shopping for gifts. Giving gifts is one of my most favorite things to do, but I’m terrible at going to the mall during the holiday season and finding that perfect something for that special someone. Instead, I’m the girl who finds a gift in April for her best friend/sister/mom/boyfriend/cousin and buys it on the spot, only to keep it until Christmas–sometimes spilling the surprise beforehand.
Hence why I wanted to create a gift guide, for anyone out there like me who can’t think of any appropriate gift ideas as soon as December hits. For the past 3-ish years, my group of friends and I have had Friendsgiving. It started off at Nova where we’d rent out a lecture hall on campus for our 50+ friends, with desks lined with our attempts at classic Thanksgiving dishes. Last year, having just graduated and most of us still shambley from #adulting, we skipped Friendsgiving but brought it back full force this past weekend. Our guest list dwindled from 50 to 15, and we relocated to my friend Chris’s house, but it was probably the best Friendsgiving to date.
