5 Things I’m Loving in My New Apartment

So I moved recently! Still in Philly but in a different part of the city (which I’m OBSESSED with). My roomie Danielle and I have been there a little over a month (crazy–time is going so quickly!) & it’s finally starting to feel settled/like “home.” If you’re anything like me, a move or big change always motivates me to purge things I don’t need anymore & buy pretty new things (Okay maybe I’m using moving as an excuse to splurge at Target, don’t @ me). It also made me reflect on things that I really liked about my old apartment & find things that could have worked better. I’ve gotten some really cool apartment/home decor things recently that I’ve been loooooving so I figured I’d share! Disclosure: you don’t have to move to re-do your space ;)

Likes & Favorites: Embracing Chaos

HELLO IT’S BEEN A WHILE. Yes, I did not post the entire month of August (I’m sorry!!) I have a relatively good reason–my life got HECTIC. Maybe even more than hectic, it was basically pure chaos. The thing about chaos or a hectic time in your life is that you have to embrace it. If you try to fight it, you’ll drown. You gotta just keep moving, keep flowing & know that the chaos will (eventually) subside and you’ll be smooth sailing. Likes & Favorites this week is all about the things that have helped me embrace/survive this chaotic season of my life. Read on.

“It’s all taken care of”

To recap all of Kasia’s deep-life posts:

And while these are all good & dandy and serve as some nice lessons at different times of your (and my) life, they’re kind of pointless without one thing:

Trust.

(Also see: faith, chilling the f*ck out in general).

I can say timing is everything, honor where I am & aim to let go, but am I truly good at believing and trusting that everything’s going to work out/be okay without my complete control over it?

Lol. Sure.
