Likes & Favorites: February Finds

Helllloooo. It has been a WHILE since I’ve done a Likes & Favorites (my last one was in November–I just checked). Between the holidays & my brief blogging hiatus, Likes & Favorites kind of fell through the cracks. But we’re back now & I have a whole bunch of good stuff that I’m liking & hoping you’ll like too.

Your New Binge Watch

Confession: I haven’t really watched any new TV shows since Riverdale and have been continually watching The Office because it’s easy (and hilarious, obviously). BUT when my sister told me about The Five, I knew I found my new guilty pleasure. It’s written by Harlan Coben (one of my favorite mystery writers), set somewhere in England (hi British accents), and is wiiiiildly addicting. Expect lots of twists & turns. I only have 2 episodes left and I can’t see how it ends. You can read a full description of the show here.

UPDATE: I finished the series two days after I originally posted this and OMG it’s SO GOOD. The twist at the end will make you cry.

Coffee, Coffee, Buzz, Buzz.

I’m slowly becoming more of a bigger coffee snob, which is slightly alarming and problematic because Keurig coffee doesn’t cut it for me anymore (clearly still going to drink it because I’m a broke millennial, but if I could afford Starbucks every day, you know I’d do it). To solve this minor (first world) problem, I’ve started using my cold brew maker that I got for my birthday (even though temperatures in Philly are averaging around 30 degrees, whatever let me live). It has definitely changed my morning caffeine game & it’s so easy to use. If you’re a cold brew fan, I highly recommend it. Just make sure you’re using coarsely ground beans (or get full beans & fresh grind them yourself–it actually makes a difference!)

Can I be Joanna Gaines now?

If you follow me on Instagram (and if you don’t, you should ;)), you know that I just got my first edition of The Magnolia Journal. Wow. It’s everything I thought it would be and more. I absolutely adore Joanna Gaines & Fixer Upper, so obviously I’d love her magazine. Perfect for a lazy Sunday morning (as shown above). Oh and a year’s subscription is only $20. Sign up here.

Daily Dose of Inspiration

Big shout out to Sam for telling me about this awesome daily newsletter, PRSUIT. We’ve all heard (and have probably signed up for) the daily news newsletters, but PRSUIT is different. To quote their website, it’s “A daily email dedicated to helping you become the badass human you really are.” It’s fun. It’s inspiring. It helps you to be a better person. Sign up here & become even more badass.

As if I need more leggings…

…But I always do. Y’all know Lululemon holds the key to my heart, but I really wanted new leggings & I had a giftcard to Athleta so the choice seemed obvious. Damn. I might cheat on Lululemon more often. Although I brought in 7+ pairs of leggings to the dressing room, I tried on the Sandstone Salutation 7/8 Tight first and immediately abandoned all my other options. They are SO comfy & soft. Yea they’re pricey but totally worth the investment. 10/10 recommend.

Liking that January is finally over (didn’t it feel like it went on FOREVER) & Favoriting being that much closer to spring. &.

P.s. In case you missed it…
