I’ve been wanting to do a style post for a while (fashion bloggers shouldn’t have all the fun, right?) and this past weekend, it was finally juuuust cool enough to break out my booties… aka the perfect time to convince Krista to do a photoshoot with me in Philly. Warning: basic betch pictures ahead.

Do I look like a fashion blogger yet?

Summer to fall can be tough because the weather is so fickle, which is why I love this sleeveless turtle neck. It’s pretty much the perfect material--comfy & casual. I’ve dressed it up for work, I’ve worn it to brunch & I’ve rocked it at the bars. #versatile

I actually bought this bag last fall, but ended up using it almost all year long. I love a classic bag that you can throw all your essentials in because it goes with everything & you always look put together. 

Life’s short, buy the shoes.

I went to DSW a few weeks ago looking for tall black boots and somehow ended with these guys^. I’m clearly a sucker for great brown boots, especially if they’re hella comfy and under $100.

Big shout out to Krista for wandering around Philly alley-ways, searching for the perfect backdrop, and making me look significantly less awkward than I actually am. Stay tuned for more Ampersand style posts in the future!
