Everybody’s living for the weekend. There is no better feeling than 5 p.m. on a Friday & 48 hours of freedom. Whether you’re gearing up for a jam-packed Saturday or a laid back Sunday, everyone’s feeling those weekend vibes. I love my weekends & here’s what I’m favoriting during them.
Saving on Starbucks
When am I not trying to find ways to afford my coffee addiction? Iced coffee season is upon us & I’m trying very hard to just make the free (hot) coffee in our office instead of strolling to the nearest ‘Bucks for my beloved caramel iced coffee. Good news is that Starbucks makes bottled iced coffee that you can buy as these cute lil guys or literally by the gallon. Find it in your nearest grocery store & save some $$$. Best way to help you survive Friday.
Crazy Deals
Big shoutout to my friends Kathleen & Deirdre for finding this AMAZING deal on wireless/Bluetooth headphones. In a completely open office, noise canceling headphones are a must and these (really really) pretty headphones are on crazy sale on Amazon (read: save $130!). Seriously, take advantage of this deal before it runs out. (P.S. They come in different colors! The white & gold combo is pictured here.)
Friday Happy Hours
My friend Christie convinced me to do Happy Hour on Friday (thanks, CC!) so we went to VEDGE on 12th and Locust. It was BOMB. Their Happy Hour deals are fabulous (I got two drinks & an app and paid $20 total). I highly recommend their white sangria and anything off their happy hour bar menu (everything is $5-$7). If you want to have a bougie Happy Hour on a budget, VEDGE is your place.
Juice Cleanse
My sister and I went to hot yoga and to a juice bar Saturday morning (I know, how basic of us). If you’re in the Manayunk area, check out the Juice Merchant. It’s a little expensive, but worth it every once in a while, especially after a workout. I sipped on the Hawaiian Delight smoothie (pineapple, mango, shredded coconut, coconut milk, banana, OJ) and Krista loved the Coffeelicious smoothie (coffee powder, almond milk, banana, vanilla). They also have cold pressed juices (The Twisted Apple sounds amazing) and other healthy, organic snacks. Healthy Saturday mornings > Hungover ones.
Weekend Wardrobe
…But just in case you’re hungover on Sunday & heading to brunch, I have the perfect outfit for you. I’m surprised I haven’t featured my Brunch tank on Ampersand yet because obviously I have one. Weekends are all about lazy mornings & leggings.
{Brunch Tank: Etsy ($23) | Bralette: Aerie ($26.95) | Jean Jacket: American Eagle ($69.95) | Leggings: your favorite pair}
Liking shopping sprees with sisters & Favoriting two days of anything I want &.
Yoga and then a smoothie sounds like a magical combination! xx
